The Franklin Yellowjackets pushed their score all the way to 56 on Monday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They were the victim of a rough 76-56 loss at the hands of Amador. Franklin's loss keeps them winless this season.
Franklin's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Daniel Lazaro, who scored 20 points along with 8 rebounds and 3 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Moses Belasco, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 18 rebounds.
The last time Franklin won on the road was back on Saturday. Having now lost three straight away matchups, they've bumped their record down to 0-3. As for Amador, their victory bumped their record up to 1-4.
Franklin will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Calaveras at 7:30 p.m. Hopefully Calaveras focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up ten on Saturday. As for Amador, they will square off against Colfax at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
