Softball Recap: North Beach Wins Going Away Against Forks

North Beach made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Forks, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Hyaks put the hurt on the Spartans with a sharp 21-8 win on Tuesday. Considering the Hyaks have won four games by more than 12 runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

North Beach has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-4 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.6 runs over those games. As for Forks, their loss dropped their record down to 7-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Beach will challenge Quilcene at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Forks, they will face off against Montesano at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
