Riverside-Durham put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 56-48 win over the Sanderson Spartans. That's more bragging rights for the Pirates, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Riverside-Durham's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Darryn Johnson, who posted 14 points. Johnson has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. Robert Mcdonald was another key player, putting up 14 points and five boards.

Riverside-Durham's record now sits at 5-0. As for Sanderson, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.

Coming up, Riverside-Durham is taking a road trip to challenge Durham Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Sanderson, they will square off against South Garner at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
