If the Jupiter Christian Eagles were riding high off their 75-50 takedown of the Glades Day Gators on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Jupiter Christian took a 55-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of Pine on Saturday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Jupiter Christian has scored all season.
Despite the loss, Jupiter Christian still got an impressive performance from Conner Hoffman, who scored 26 points. The match was Hoffman's third in a row with at least ten points.
Jupiter Christian has fallen quite a ways from their 22-4 record last season and are now at 3-5. As for Pine, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-3.
Jupiter Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Patel at 12:45 p.m. on December 27th. Pine will be home for the holidays to greet Calvary Chapel Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Calvary Chapel Academy is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses.
