The biggest upset of the week belonged to Pen Argyl, who took down 193rd ranked Northern Lehigh, 41-28. Ryan Hunt threw for 214 yards and two touchdowns and ran for nine yards in the win.
Catasauqua extended the longest winning streak in Colonial this week by beating Bangor, 35-14. The victory was the sixth in a row for the team.
Wilson Area's dynamic duo of Ryan Dailey and Zack Bogoly proved tough for Palisades to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Dailey threw for 191 yards and three touchdowns and Bogoly had 114 yards receiving. Trey Robinson helped Wilson Area's passing attack out by catching one ball for 43 yards.
Philip Vass was the most productive running back in the league this week. In 28 carries, he ran for 204 yards as the Slaters lost to the Pirates. Teammate Michael Clarke added to the ground attack by rushing for 15 yards.
Wilson Area's Dailey and Bogoly have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Dailey has thrown for 780 yards this season, while Bogoly, a 6-foot-2 receiver, has 28 catches for 558 yards. Vass from Bangor leads the league in rushing with 1061 yards.
The top two teams in Colonial will face off this week when first place Catasauqua takes on second place Pen Argyl. Last week, Catasauqua beat Frank Scagliotta's team, while the Green Knights topped the Bulldogs.
Two of the top units in the league will face off this week when Pen Argyl takes on Tom Falzone's team. Paul Reduzzi's team's offense has scored 152 points this season, good for No. 1 in the league, while the Rough Riders have allowed only 31 on the year.
Saucon Valley was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from 10th to eighth in the league. Earlier in the week, the Panthers defeated Salisbury Township 38-7.
