The Thomas Jefferson Spartans scored the most points they've had all season to find success  on Friday. They breezed by Lincoln at home  to the tune of  86-59. The  win was some much needed relief for Thomas Jefferson as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
 Thomas Jefferson had a senior duo take command as  William Perkins  went 6 for 9 from beyond the arc en route to 26 points and 2 assists and  Doren Sacha  scored 24 points along with four  steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points  Sacha has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of  Dimitri Haralambopoulos, who  scored 12 points along with three  steals.
 Despite the loss, Lincoln still got an impressive performance from   Mahamud Jumale, who  scored 32 points along with three  steals. Jumale has been hot recently, having posted two or more  steals the last five times he's  played. Another player making a difference was  Aaron Villarreal, who  scored 15 points along with six  rebounds and two  steals.
 Thomas Jefferson's victory bumped their record up to 8-6. As for Lincoln, they have  traveled a rocky road recently, as they've  lost four of their last five matches,  which put a noticeable dent in their 9-6 record this season.
 Coincidentally,  the pair will both be playing Northfield the next time they take the court. Thomas Jefferson will  host Northfield at 7:30  p.m.  on Monday, while Lincoln will  host them  at 7:30  p.m.  on Tuesday.
