After three games on the road, Skiatook is heading back home. The Skiatook Bulldogs and the Collinsville Cardinals will face off at 7:30 p.m. on January 22nd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Skiatook will be strutting in after a victory while Collinsville will be coming in after a loss.
Last Saturday, Skiatook beat Locust Grove 59-49.
Meanwhile, Collinsville unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a 64-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of Booker T. Washington. While losing is never fun, Collinsville can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 65th, while Booker T. Washington is ranked 17th).
Skiatook's win bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Collinsville, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-3.
Skiatook was dealt a bruising 76-44 defeat at the hands of Collinsville when the teams last played back in November of 2023. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Collinsville's Zac Brown, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and 20 rebounds. Now that Skiatook knows the damage he can cause, will they be able to stop him this time? There's only one way to find out.
