Softball Recap: Beallsville's Losing Streak Snapped at Three Games

After low-scoring totals in their previous three contests, Beallsville brought some dynamite into their most recent matchup. They walked away with a 12-9 victory over the Belpre Golden Eagles on Saturday. With that win, the Blue Devils brought their scoring average up to 6.6 runs per game.

Raegen Lucas was incredible, going 2-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one double. That double marked the first that she hit this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Brooke Wells, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of her five plate appearances.

The victory snapped Beallsville's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 2-3 record. As for Belpre, the loss was their first at home , dropping their record down to 4-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Beallsville will head out to face off against Paden City at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Belpre, they will venture away from home to take on Wellston at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Golden Rockets will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something the Golden Eagles surely won't give up without a fight.
