While Owensboro Catholic's victory against Owensboro wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Aces sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-3 win over the Red Devils on Tuesday. Winning may never get old, but the Aces sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

The team relied heavily on Jake Murphy, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4. Tucker Evans was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two RBI.

Owensboro Catholic's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 10-6. As for Owensboro, their loss dropped their record down to 9-7.
