When it comes to explaining why Central Noble lost, one person who can't be blamed is Melissa McCoy. Despite the final result, she scored 12 points along with five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Abby Pliett, who scored eight points.
Central Noble's defeat dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Fairfield, their victory was their 15th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-3.
