Clara Feighner turned in yet another pitching appearance with more than seven strikeouts on Thursday. She struck out 12 batters over six innings while giving up three earned (and three unearned) runs off nine hits (and only one walk). Considering she played a big game the last time she faced off against Troy on Thursday, the result shouldn't come as too huge a shock. Those hits were Feighner's first of the season.

Feighner and Doniphan West will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Onaga at 4:30 p.m. on the 21st. Feighner had to take a defeat the last time the two teams duked it out, losing their game last Monday 5-3. Could another big game from her be enough to change the outcome this time?
