The biggest upset of the week belonged to Nimitz, who took down 415th ranked MacArthur, 31-14.
The Vikings moved up to 462 from 542 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in 5A Region I District 6. Nimitz was able to move up by besting the Cardinals 31-14.
Heritage's dynamic duo of Griffin Pickler and Brett Bofinger proved tough for Irving to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Pickler threw for 301 yards and 4 touchdowns and Bofinger had 137 yards receiving. Jackson Zeledon helped Heritage's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 53 yards.
Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, Bell's Colson Romano and Jonathan Arosemena have proven to be a lethal combination. 6-0 quarterback Romano has thrown for 1,484 yards this season, while Arosemena has 33 catches for 438 yards. Antonio Franklin from the Tigers leads the league in rushing with 756 yards.
The Panthers are in second place, while Brian Rogers' team is in fifth place.
Trinity extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating the Raiders, 55-0. The victory was the fifth in a row for the team.
