The Rockledge Raiders will head out on the road to face off against the Jensen Beach Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
Last Friday just wasn't the day for Rockledge's offense. Their rough 26-0 defeat to Cocoa might stick with them for a while. While losing is never fun, Rockledge can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked 59th, while Cocoa is ranked fourth).
Meanwhile, Jensen Beach waltzed into Thursday's matchup with four straight wins but they left with five. They walked away with a 14-7 victory over Martin County.
Jensen Beach's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Elvick Previlma, who picked up 62 receiving yards and a touchdown, and Dennis Palmer Jr., who rushed for 94 yards and a touchdown.
This is the second loss in a row for Rockledge and nudges their season record down to 5-5. As for Jensen Beach, their victory was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-1.
