The First Colonial Patriots suffered their biggest loss since December 5, 2023 on Tuesday. They were outmatched by Kellam on the road and fell 83-37. First Colonial has not had much luck with Kellam recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Kellam to victory, but perhaps none more so than Caroline Casady, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 14 rebounds. Molly Spain was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 12 points and 13 rebounds.
First Colonial's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Kellam, they pushed their record up to 12-3 with that win, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. First Colonial's road trip will continue as they head out to face Granby at 5:30 p.m. on January 22nd. As for Kellam, they will take on Kempsville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
