Eisenhower is 0-10 against the Mustangs since January of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Eisenhower Eagles will look to defend their home court against the Westfield Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Friday, Eisenhower took their game at home with ease, bagging a 46-18 win over the Wildcats. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 25-4.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Eisenhower to victory, but perhaps none more so than Keiora Gaines, who scored 16 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Genesis Watson, who scored 11 points along with five steals.
Meanwhile, Westfield put the finishing touches on their ninth blowout victory of the season on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 40-18 margin over MacArthur.
Eisenhower's victory bumped their record up to 7-21. As for Westfield, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-12 record this season.
