The Bishop Brady Giants will face off against the Hopkinton Hawks at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Bishop Brady will be looking to extend their current nine-game winning streak.
On Wednesday, Bishop Brady made easy work of Kearsarge and carried off a 12-4 win. Considering the Giants have won four matches by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.
Abby Tyrrell was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out six over four innings pitched. Tyrrell was also big at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double.

Those six stolen bases gave Mundy a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Maryn Sherman, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with three stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.
Bishop Brady kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in six consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Hopkinton posted their closest victory since May 15, 2024 on Tuesday. They won by a run and slipped past Trinity 4-3.
Bishop Brady's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-2-1. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.5 runs over those games. As for Hopkinton, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-4-1.
Everything went Bishop Brady's way against Hopkinton when the teams last played last Wednesday, as Bishop Brady made off with an 8-2 victory. Will the Giants repeat their success, or do the Hawks have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
