Baseball Recap: Sunset Finds Home Field Redemption Against Western

There's no place like home for Sunset, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They walked away with a 10-7 win over the Western Wildcats on Monday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Knights as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Sunset's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-8. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.3 runs over those games. As for Western, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-8 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sunset will welcome ABF Academy at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Western, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Western Wildcats take on West Broward Bobcats at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
