Winning always takes teamwork, but on Tuesday Will Yost stepped things up a notch to give Gridley the 'W'. Yost scored two runs while going 3-for-4, which was good enough to set a new career-high in hits.

Yost's strong effort led Gridley over Corning and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs are 9-1 against the Cardinals going back to April of 2019, a lead they'll look to extend.
