Farson-Eden's Isaac Orozco recorded the longest rushing play in 6-Man South (6 Man) this season in his game against Midwest last week. Orozco's team lost to the Oilers as he sprinted for 65 yards on the play and finished with 127 in all.
Midwest took down Farson-Eden 85-12 last week, the largest margin of any game. Levi Shade threw for 72 yards and two touchdowns in the win.
Tucker Even made the biggest impact on defense this week as Ken Swieter's team topped the Pronghorns. The 5-foot-7 junior forced one fumble and grabbed one sack.
Rylie Richardson put up the best numbers through the air as HEM fell to Guernsey-Sunrise. He finished with 16 completions for 150 yards and three touchdowns. Richardson's favorite target this week was Jeremy Manning, who caught three passes for 59 yards.
Brady Esquibel provided a threat through the air and on the ground as the Vikings defeated the Miners. He completed one pass for 50 yards and one touchdown and also ran for 197 yards. Esquibel's favorite target this week was Treasure Hollister, who caught one pass for 50 yards.
Conner Lee was the best wideout in the league this week as Little Snake River bested Meeteetse. Lee tallied four receptions for 79 yards. Cole Gourlay helped Little Snake River's passing attack out by catching one ball for 65 yards.
Gourlay was the most productive running back in the league this week. In 24 carries, he ran for 238 yards as the Rattlers defeated the Longhorns. Teammate Manuel Quinteros added to the ground attack by rushing for 64 yards.
5-foot-10 quarterback Richardson of HEM is the league leader in passing yards this season with 553. He has also thrown nine touchdowns. On the ground, Guernsey-Sunrise's Esquibel has rushed for 612 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Brian Steiner. The Guernsey-Sunrise star has 20 catches for 258 yards.
The marquee game in the league this week will be the clash between Chris Link's team and Farson-Eden. The Vikings enters the contest ranked fifth in the state, while the Pronghorns ranks 10th.
The Oilers led the league in scoring this week after putting up 85 points on Farson-Eden. Shade in the win.
