This past Saturday, the Sargent Central Cadets were out to avenge their 65-36 defeat to the Northern Cass Jaguars from their previous meeting last February, but they had no such luck. Sargent Central has to be aching after a bruising 69-43 loss to Northern Cass. The Cadets' loss continues a disappointing trend for the squad, making it five in a row.
The loss dropped the Cadets' record to 4-17. The victory improved Northern Cass' record to 14-6.
The Cadets will square off against Central Cass on Thursday. Sargent Central is the clear underdog, so they're hoping it's the size of the fight that determines this one. As for Northern Cass, they will face off against Oak Grove Lutheran on Thursday.
