Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Friday's contest: Fernley has been on an offensive roll this season, having averaged 382.4 total yards per game. It's a different story for Lowry, though, as they've been averaging only 232.6 total yards. Will Fernley be able to march up the field at their leisure again, or will the Buckaroos flip the script?
Everything came up roses for Fernley against Lowry in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 79-47 victory. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was the Buckaroos' Erick Valencia, who rushed for 222 yards and six TDs while picking up 10.1 yards per carry, and also threw for 102 yards while completing 83.3% of his passes. Now that he's got a second chance to win this matchup, will the Vaqueros still be able to contain Valencia? There's only one way to find out.
