Basketball Recap: Valley View Extends Winning Streak to Three

Valley View extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Brody Denny. The Spartans blew past the Northwestern Warriors 93-55 on Tuesday with plenty of help from Denny, who went 16-for-28 on his way to 41 points and six steals. That makes it seven consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Valley View's points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Garrett Brewer, who shot 63% from the field to rack up 15 points. Thanks to that strong game, he now owns an excellent 41.2% three-point shooting accuracy.

Valley View's victory bumped their record up to 12-4. As for Northwestern, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Valley View will take on Eaton at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. The Spartans will be up against the Eagles' rather soft defense (which has allowed 58.44 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Northwestern, they will face off against Graham Local at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
