Akemi Higa Game Report: @ Las Vegas

On Wednesday Akemi Higa threw for 236 yards and four touchdowns while completing 76.2% of her passes, and also rushed for 108 yards and one touchdown on only 12 carries. The performance marked the most rushing yards Higa has had since back in December of 2023. Perhaps unsurprisingly, she's been consistent in that area too: the contest was her fifth straight with four or more. On the season, she has thrown 36 touchdowns (and and only 4 picks) while averaging 222.2 passing yards per game.

Higa will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant effort when she faces off against Mater Academy East Las Vegas on Thursday. The matchup will pit Higa up against the Knights' star quarterback Cheyanne Thornhill. So who wins this QB-duel? There's only one way to know for sure.
