Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Marion). They put the hurt on the Buckley Bears with a sharp 61-36 win on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Eagles have posted since February 22, 2024.

The win got Marion back to even at 3-3. As for Buckley, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Marion will square off against Mason County Eastern at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Buckley, they will take on Leland at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
