After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Westwood Christian, the Mater Brickell Academy Bulls were happy to have found some success on Wednesday. They claimed a resounding 64-10 win over International Studies at home. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 42-5.
Mater Brickell Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Logan Molina out in front who scored 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Fritner Catilus, who scored 14 points.
Mater Brickell Academy now has a winning record of 2-1. As for International Studies, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mater Brickell Academy will square off against iMater Charter at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for International Studies, they will head out on the road to face off against MAST Academy at 5:30 p.m. on December 14th.
