Creek Bridge have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. They will look to defend their home turf on Friday against Marion at 7:30 PM. Both teams have had a rocky road up to this point with four consecutive losses for Creek Bridge and three for Marion.
There's no need to mince words: Creek Bridge lost to Latta two weeks ago, and they lost bad. The score wound up at 6-42. Creek Bridge were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-42.
Meanwhile, Marion found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 6-29 punch to the gut against Timmonsville.
Given their recent losses, both teams have a little extra motivation heading into this weekend. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contest, so their meeting could be a low-scoring affair.
