Adding to the longest winning streak in Cardinal this week, Wayne beat Bluefield 29-27. The win marks 10th in a row for the the Pioneers.
Wayne and the Beavers played the closest game in the league this week, with Wayne eventually emerging with a 29-27 victory.
On the heels of Blake Rose and Brandon Ward, Tolsia has had great success on offense. Rose leads the league in passing with 525 yards, while Ward has rushed for 778 yards this season. Poca's Tyler Gibson leads the league in receiving yards with 334 on 15 catches.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Sissonville takes on Mingo Central. The Indians are in second place, while the Miners are in third place.
Mingo Central took down Mt. View 70-8 last week, the largest margin of any game.
