Alex Krugh posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Tuesday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, striking out 13 batters over six innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in seven consecutive appearances.

Krugh's strong effort led Galesburg-Augusta over Saugatuck and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
