East Central is 1-9 against George County since November of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The East Central Hornets will head out on the road to face off against the George County Rebels at 7:30 p.m. East Central is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
On Tuesday, East Central was the victim of a rough 71-48 defeat at the hands of Perry Central.
The losing side was boosted by Aj Hopkins, who scored 22 points. The match was his fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Brody Howard, who scored 7 points.
Meanwhile, George County didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against East Central last Tuesday, but they still walked away with a 58-52 victory. The victory made it back-to-back wins for George County.
The losses dropped East Central to 2-4 and Perry Central to 4-3.
