Westosha Central hasn't had much luck against Catholic Memorial recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The Falcons will be taking part in a tournament against the Crusaders at 8:30 a.m. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
Westosha Central barely beat Badger the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Falcons put the hurt on the Badgers with a sharp 3-0 win on Tuesday. The Falcons haven't had any issues with the Badgers recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.
Westosha Central's got stronger as the match went on, holding Badger to fewer and fewer points set over set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-15, 25-6.

Abigail Winner was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had four digs and four aces. That's the most aces she has posted over her last eight contests. Emily Steger also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.
They weren't the only good servers: Westosha Central was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 11 consecutive matches.
Catholic Memorial not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since September 16th (when they won 3-0). They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Grafton.
While Catholic Memorial might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Grafton scored at least 21 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-21, 27-25.
Westosha Central's win bumped their record up to 15-11. As for Catholic Memorial, their victory bumped their record up to 19-14.
