Killingly is 8-2 against the Wolverines since December of 2018, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. Having just played yesterday, the Killingly Redmen will head out on the road to face off against the Griswold Wolverines at 7:00 p.m. on February 6th. Killingly is no doubt hoping to put an end to a five-game streak of away losses.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 61-32, which was the final score in Killingly's tilt against the Whippets on Monday.
Meanwhile, Griswold came into Friday's matchup having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against Parish Hill by a score of 50-43 on Friday.
Killingly has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season. As for Griswold, their win bumped their record up to 5-12.
Everything came up roses for Killingly against the Wolverines in their previous meeting back in December of 2022 as the squad secured a 52-17 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Killingly since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
