Basketball Recap: Good Samaritan Homeschool Picks Up 14th Consecutive Victory

Good Samaritan HomeSchool put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They breezed by the Community Christian Lions to the tune of 84-39. The Hornets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 20 points or more this season.

Good Samaritan HomeSchool found their leader in sophomore George Fogo, who went 13 of 21 en route to 33 points and five steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Fogo has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Dominic Fogo, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and nine rebounds.

Good Samaritan HomeSchool smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 20 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive boards in 12 consecutive matchups.

Will Kratzer and Levi Samuel certainly did their best on Monday to avoid the loss. Kratzer posted 18 points, while Samuel had seven points and ten rebounds. Kratzer is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games.

Good Samaritan HomeSchool's win was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-0. As for Community Christian, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-12.

Good Samaritan HomeSchool will head out to square off against Harmony Science Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Community Christian, they will welcome Varsity Opponent at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
