The Antwerp Archers will head out on the road to take on the Hilltop Cadets at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Antwerp is no doubt hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
Last Thursday, Antwerp got the win against Hicksville by a conclusive 57-31. Antwerp pushed the score to 44-24 by the end of the third, a deficit Hicksville had little chance of recovering from.
Meanwhile, Hilltop came into Saturday's contest having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They took down Edgerton 44-28 on Saturday. The victory was just what Hilltop needed coming off of a 60-18 defeat in their prior match.
Antwerp's record is now 11-9. Hilltop's record now sits at 12-7.
Antwerp lost to Hilltop on the road by a decisive 47-32 margin in their previous meeting back in February of 2023. Can Antwerp avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
