The Calaveras Red Hawks will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against the Summerville Bears at 6:00 p.m. on February 13th.
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately neither team quite found what they we're looking for on Friday. Calaveras and Riverbank finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw.
Calaveras' goal came courtesy of
Josh Goodwin, who's now up to 14 this season.
Meanwhile, Summerville entered their tilt with Highlands with eight consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with nine. Summerville never let Highlands onto the board and left with a 2-0 victory on Friday. Give Summerville's defense some credit: that's the team's ninth straight shutout.
Calaveras' draw makes their record 10-6-5 this season. As for Summerville, they pushed their record up to 16-3-1 with that win, which was their fifth straight at home.
