Meadville's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Lucas Luteran led the charge by scoring 19 points along with 6 rebounds and 6 steals. The match was Luteran's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Jack Burchard, who scored 15 points along with 5 steals.
Harbor Creek's victory bumped their season record to 0-0 while Fairview's defeat dropped theirs to 0-1.
Fairview strolled past Meadville in their previous matchup back in December of 2022 by a score of 54-35. The rematch might be a little tougher for Fairview since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
