ThunderRidge has gone a perfect 10-0 against Heritage recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The ThunderRidge Grizzlies will head out to square off against the Heritage Eagles at 7:00 p.m. One thing working in ThunderRidge's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last seven games.
Last Friday, ThunderRidge earned a 64-57 win over Legend. Given the Grizzlies' advantage in MaxPreps' Colorado basketball rankings (they are ranked eighth, while the Titans are ranked 46th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Drew Paine was his usual excellent self, putting up 22 points. The match was his fourth in a row with at least 18 points. Another player making a difference was Kael Carney, who posted 14 points.
Meanwhile, Heritage was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 67-61 to Chaparral.
ThunderRidge will have to contain Trystan Rangel as he made an impact in Heritage's last game. He went 8 for 20 on his way to 20 points and six assists. Rangel is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 16 or more in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Brayden Chaney, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 rebounds.
Even though they lost, Heritage smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in nine consecutive contests.
ThunderRidge is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.5 points over those games. As for Heritage, they dropped their record down to 9-10 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
Wednesday's matchup will pit two of the most dominant forwards against one another: Paine and Chaney. Paine has been dynamite this season: he has averaged 19.5 points. For his part, Chaney has averaged 13.4 points, 1.4 steals, and 6.4 boards.
ThunderRidge strolled past Heritage in their previous matchup back in January of 2024 by a score of 59-40. The rematch might be a little tougher for ThunderRidge since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
