This season hasn't been kind to the Fontbonne Hall Academy Bonnies, who are still winless after their fifth match. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 72-46 walloping at the hands of Notre Dame Academy on Wednesday. Fontbonne Hall Academy lost against Notre Dame Academy in their previous head to head back in November of 2023, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 90-40 score last time.
Sabrina Kraker was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 27 points and ten rebounds for Notre Dame Academy. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Kraker has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Giuliana Dito, who scored 13 points.
Fontbonne Hall Academy's defeat was their sixth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 0-5. As for Notre Dame Academy, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-2.
Fontbonne Hall Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Kennedy Catholic at 12:45 p.m. on February 3rd. As for Notre Dame Academy, they will be playing at home against St. Thomas Aquinas at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
