Desert Chapel extended their winning streak to eight games thanks to a huge performance from Jayvon Garcia. The Desert Chapel Eagles walked away with a 54-46 win over the Palm Valley FIREBIRDS on Tuesday thanks in part to Garcia, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 12 boards. His evening made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.
Another player making a difference was Samuel Mourhess, who almost dropped a double-double on 11 points and nine rebounds. That's the most points he has posted since back in February of 2024.
Palm Valley's loss came despite strong showings from Alex Ratner and Deshawn Tunmore. Ratner dropped a double-double on 12 points and 14 boards, while Tunmore posted 19 points along with eight rebounds and six steals.
