Batesburg-Leesville extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Amadre Wooden. Batesburg-Leesville claimed a resounding 60-14 victory over Pelion thanks in part to Wooden, who rushed for 226 yards and a pair of TDs while picking up 10.3 yards per carry. His rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his sixth straight game with at least 204 rushing yards.
Special teams played a big role in the game for Batesburg-Leesville, adding 16 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Kd Whitt, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.
Although Pelion took the loss, they still got scores from Daniel Adkins and Jai Chuniesingh.
