Lauren Winters and Lily Higgins did most of the damage at the plate: Winters went 2-for-4 with five RBI, one run, and one double, while Higgins went 2-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and one double. Ridgewood [AlWood/Cambridge]'s speedy runners might be the difference in Tuesday's game. The Spartans have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4 stolen bases per game. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will Ridgewood [AlWood/Cambridge] continue to outrun the ball?
Ridgewood [AlWood/Cambridge] was able to grind out a solid victory over Biggsville West Central in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, winning 4-0. Do the Spartans have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Heat turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
