Meanwhile, after soaring to 58 points the game before, Lourdes Central Catholic were a bit more limited in their match on Tuesday. They were beaten by Johnson-Brock 70-16. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Lourdes Central Catholic in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now lost four in a row.
Sidney has not been sharp recently as the team's lost seven of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-15 record this season. As for Lourdes Central Catholic, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-10.
Sidney beat the Knights 60-51 in their previous matchup back in January of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for Sidney since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
