Volleyball Recap: Gibault Catholic Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from AUBRY THOMAS and OLIVIA BIFFAR

Gibault Catholic lost against Wesclin back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Hawks fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 2-1.

OLIVIA BIFFAR and AUBRY THOMAS certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. BIFFAR had nine digs and three aces, while THOMAS had 18 digs and two aces. THOMAS has been hot, having posted 11 or more digs the last six times she's played.

Gibault Catholic now has a losing record of 11-12. As for Wesclin, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-12 record this season.

Gibault Catholic has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Chester on the 18th. As for Wesclin, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Benton on the 18th.
