The Hatton Hornets's 19-7 record from last season is now well into the rear view mirror after another tough outing. They were outmatched by Rogers on the road and fell 58-29. Hatton has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Eva Armstead was Hatton's leading scorer, having posted nine points. Armstead also led the team in rebounds with 11.
Hatton now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Rogers, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hatton will take on Phil Campbell at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Alabama (Phil Campbell is ranked 168th, while Hatton is ranked 144th). As for Rogers, they will be playing at home against Muscle Shoals at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Muscle Shoals focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 on Tuesday.
