Smith-Cotton has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matchups by 20 points or more this season.
Parkview's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brooklynn Masten, who scored 21 points along with nine rebounds and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Masten has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Brooklynn Haines, who scored nine points along with five rebounds and four steals.
Smith-Cotton now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Parkview, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-15.
Smith-Cotton will be playing at home against Pleasant Hill on Monday. As for Parkview, they will head out on the road to take on Bolivar at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Bolivar presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Parkview in Missouri (Bolivar is ranked 120th, while Parkview is ranked 402nd).
