The Mercer County Titans will head out on the road to  square off against  the Anderson County Bearcats at 7:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Both teams are coming into the  contest red-hot, with Mercer County sitting on  three straight  wins and the Bearcats on ten.
 Mercer County can now show off eight landslide victories after their most recent  match  on Tuesday. They took their  game on the road  with ease, bagging a  68-34 victory over East Jessamine. With Mercer County ahead  39-19 at the half, the  game was all but over already.
 Mercer County's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Ak Drakeford, who  scored 23 points along with five  assists and three  steals. Drakeford has been hot recently, having posted 17 or more points the last 16 times she's  played. Another player making a difference was  Izzie Carlton, who  dropped  a double-double on 19 points and ten  rebounds.
 Meanwhile, Anderson County didn't have too much breathing room in their  matchup against the Bears on Friday, but they still walked away with a  37-31 victory.
 Mercer County's win bumped their record up to 13-7. As for Anderson County, they pushed their record up to 18-1 with that  win, which was their ninth straight  on the road dating back to last season.
 Mercer County strolled past the Bearcats when the teams last played  back in January of 2023 by a score of  43-27. The rematch might be a little tougher for Mercer County since the  team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
