 Luke Gilmartin had an outrageously good game as he threw for 182 yards and five  touchdowns while completing 83.3% of his passes, and also punched in one  TD on the ground. The dominant performance also gave  him a new career-high in  passer rating (163.2).
 Geneva didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as  Willian Thigpen,  Duke Carpenter,  and  Taylor Mitchell picked up one apiece. Carpenter got in on the action too, converting a pick  into a touchdown.
Geneva's first  win this season bumped their record up to 1-9. As for Halifax Academy, they dropped their record down to 1-9 with the  loss, which was their fourth straight  on the road.
 Geneva does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Halifax Academy, they will challenge The Master's Academy at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
