Roger Barcheers of Poteau ran for the longest rushing play in 4A District 4 this season against Broken Bow last week. Barcheers ran for 77 yards on the play and finished with 157 on the day as his team lost to the Savages.
Cascia Hall extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating College, 70-0. The victory was the ninth in a row for the Commandos.
Muldrow's dynamic duo of Dawson Floyd and Colton Keith proved tough for Sallisaw to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Floyd threw for 438 yards and four touchdowns and Keith had 176 yards receiving. Tad Jackson helped Muldrow's passing attack out by catching 10 balls for 159 yards.
The Bulldogs' Floyd and Keith have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Floyd has thrown for 1710 yards this season, while Keith, a 5-foot-10 receiver, has 58 catches for 894 yards. Barcheers from Poteau leads the league in rushing with 1028 yards.
A big matchup in 4A District 4 this week will be when Broken Bow takes on Cascia Hall. As it stands, the Savages are in third, while Joe Medina's team is in first.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when Broken Bow takes on the Commandos. The Savages have allowed 175 points this season, while Cascia Hall has given up 73. Broken Bow allowed 15 points last week as it beat Greg Werner's team.
