The Clinton Arrows and the Hernando Tigers squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but sadly the Clinton Arrows had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 2-1. It was the first time this season that Clinton let down their fans at home.
Their goal came courtesy of
Logan Cole, who's now up to 15 this season.
Clinton's loss dropped their record down to 18-2-4. As for Hernando, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 16-3-1.
Clinton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hernando, they will head out on the road to challenge Oxford at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Oxford will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Hernando surely won't give up without a fight.
