Danny Mercado Goes Supernova in Casa Grande Victory
Starting off the list is Casa Grande's Danny Mercado, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Mercado threw for 198 yards and two touchdowns on only nine passes, and also rushed for 47 yards and a touchdown.
Mercado must have Justin-Siena's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Mercado saw the Braves), he threw for 182 yards and five touchdowns on only 17 passes.

American Canyon Wins Seventh-Straight Thanks to Mason Harris
Mason Harris was instrumental in extending American Canyon's winning streak to seven on Friday. Harris wasn't messing around, rushing for 104 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries, while also throwing for 68 yards and a touchdown. The match was his fourth straight with two or more rushing touchdowns dating back to last season.
American Canyon pushed their record up to 7-0 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Harris and American Canyon will square off against Napa at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Lopez Posts Huge Game in 41-21 Victory
Andre Lopez's big game helped extend American Canyon's winning streak to seven on Friday. Lopez was dynamite, rushing for 139 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.7 yards per carry. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 101 rushing yards dating back to last season.
If the past is any indication, Lopez could be in store for another big game when he takes on Napa on Friday. When Lopez last faced the Grizzlies back in October of 2023, he rushed for 132 yards and three touchdowns on only 13 carries.

Ronan Curley Delivers Best Performance of Season
Ronan Curley produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Casa Grande to the win on Friday. Curley rushed for 63 yards and two touchdowns, and also picked up 48 receiving yards.
This season, Curley has averaged 20.7 receiving yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 0.29 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 47.57 rushing yards.
