Coleman has gone a perfect 4-0 against Lena recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Cougars will be playing in front of their home fans against the Wildcats at 4:30 p.m. Coleman is coming into the match hot, having won their last six games.
Coleman came out on top against Wausaukee on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run seventh inning. The Cougars walked away with an 8-4 victory over the Rangers.

Coleman let Tyler Reine and Gavin Pusick run wild. Reine went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI, while Pusick went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double. Pusick is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last five games he's played. Another player making a difference was Wyatt Bieber, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
Meanwhile, Lena suffered their biggest loss since April 22, 2024 on Saturday. They came up short against Green Bay Southwest, falling 9-2. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the Wildcats' biggest loss of the season was also their lowest-scoring.
Lena saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Isaac Peterson, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.
Having lost for the first time this season, Lena fell to 5-1. As for Coleman, their win bumped their record up to 8-1.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Friday as neither team is afraid to steal. Coleman has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 5.8 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Lena struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 5.7 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Coleman was able to grind out a solid victory over Lena in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, winning 9-4. Will the Cougars repeat their success, or do the Wildcats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
